Reg Millns, turned 100 on the 4th of May 2021. At the age of 20 Reg travelled to North Africa to fight in World War 2. This veteran deserved a remarkable day and thanks to the kindness off the community and strangers alike that’s exactly what Reg received.
The Home Help Company appealed to Facebook to send in some birthday cards. 100 to be exact. The turnout shows that despite all evidence to the contrary, people still have no shortage of goodwill as Reg instead enjoyed over 200 birthday cards, which considering their aim really made this one a day to remember.
